To celebrate the 15th anniversary of 'The Hawk Is Howling', a brand new 2LP remastered edition of the Mogwai album will be released on white Vinyl on September 22, 2023, exactly fifteen years after the original release of the album. The album has been remastered by Frank Arkwright at Abbey Road Studios.
Originally released in 2008, 'The Hawk Is Howling' was recorded with Andy Miller at Chemikal Underground Studios and mixed by Gareth Jones at Castle Of Doom Studio. It marked a return to the band's purely instrumental roots. The album includes the single 'Batcat' among other tracks.
