Product description

With “Anthems Of Rebellion”, Arch Enemy release a new album full of banging songs. The band manage to pull off the feat of linking melodic and catchy power metal arrangements with the rough chanting of Gossow, their front grunter.

by Matthias Mineur (06/03) Holy Smokes, the blonde Angela Gossow can be quite proud of her friend ì Michael Amott - leader and main composer of Swedish Metall fraction Arch ì Enemy - he seems to be at his creative peak. Arch enemy release their new ì album "Anthems of rebellion" and songs like "Silent wars", "We will rise", "Dead eyes see no future" or the instrumental "Marching on a dead end road" rip through your auditory canal with full force. Arch Enemy manage to ì connect melodic and memorable Power Metal with their brute grunting vocals ì of singeress Gossow. This way a pleasant amount of roughness is created ì which never seems overrated but at the same time stays away from shallow pop ì waters. In addition to that Amott knows how to play his guitar and combines ì thrilling riffs with fine licks and solos. "Anthems of rebellion" was ì produced by Andy Sneap who once again proves to have a good instinct for ì this type of music. Good shit!
