When the world stood still in 2020, LORNA SHORE delved deeper into the creative instincts that originally solidified them as a force in the extreme metal scene with groundbreaking albums: 2015's 'Psalms' and 2017's 'Flesh Coffin'. Since then, they have interwoven influences and ideas ranging from the symphonic grimness of European black metal to the complex, deadly sonic formulas of death metal and the aural intensity of hardcore. What LORNA SHORE has achieved is a new level of blackened technicality and the next step on their darkside journey. Adorned with artwork by renowned Polish painter Mariusz Lewnadowski (Bell Witch, Fuming Mouth), '...And I Return to Nothingness' reaffirms LORNA SHORE's creative focus and intensity. The three tracks on the EP - 'To the Hellfire,' 'Of the Abyss,' and the title track - are evidence that LORNA SHORE is not only continuing their fiery legacy. They ignite it and spectacularly set ablaze their own legacy.
After a sold-out headlining Tour in North America, LORNA SHORE will embark on their first full headlining Tour in Europe in November and December 2023. In celebration of this occasion, '...And I Return to Nothingness' is now available as a special Vinyl Tour edition (Ltd. sky blue-red split LP+CD).
