The beginnings of 5FDP

Five Finger Death Punch is a groove metal band formed in Los Angeles in 2005. The combo is named after a fighting technique from the kung fu action film "Kill Bill". At first, the group was known only in the United States. Later, the band moved through Great Britain and gradually gained a foothold in Europe.

After the debut was released in Europe, another album followed, "War Is the Answer", which was certified gold. After the gigs in the USA and Europe, the band made their way to Iraq to entertain the soldiers stationed there.

From insider band to high-flyer

In July 2007, Five Finger Death Punch released the album "The Way of the Fist". The three singles reached high positions in the charts. The subsequent concert tour lasted an exceptionally long time of about one and a half years.

Five Finger Death Punch toured parts of Europe after this long journey with Disturbed, Korn, Hellyeah, Dimmu Borgir, Unearth and Lamb of God. After all, the combo appeared several times as headliners.
